Love you so much Em! This is wonderful!
Thank you Terri!! I love you more!
I am new to homesteading and I am starting to cam and preserve. Trying to figure it out before we buy our forever home.
Hi Kristin! So sorry for the delayed response….I think that is terrific and you are on the right track! Moving is going to be a lot on your plate and how nice that you will already have skills under your belt on Day 1. Where abouts are you dreaming to move to? I would HIGHLY recommend joining homesteading/farming facebook pages for that area so you could start building your network there before you arrive. I have a wonderful circle of likeminded friends in Connecticut and it’s going to be so hard leaving them behind when we finally make the big move to Vermont, however I’ve been building a new circle in Vermont both with homesteading and homeschooling so that we won’t be totally alone when we are officially all moved in….best of luck to you on your journey!! I would love to stay connected if you are on Instagram I’m @Halfwaytohomesteading21 …if you look me up there let me know this is where we talked and I’ll be sure to follow back!
